Celtic coin ring - Catuvellauni

This silver ring is a reproduction of a Celtic coin of the Catuvellauni tribe, who lived in an area that is now Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and southern Cambridgeshire, and possibly Buckinghamshire and parts of Oxfordshire.

This ring is a modern reproduction made in sterling silver. It comes in a presentation box with references and information about the original coin, a gold stater, of the ‘Middle Whaddon Chase, Big Wheel’ type, which was struck by the Catuvellauni tribe around 55 to 45 BC.
